As a union company we are actively involved with the local (Western Washington) and national Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning Contractors National Association. In 2025-2026 I will be the Western Washington Chapter President.
What Creative Skill do you bring to the Company?
Two skills actually, as Owner. My most important job is CFO managing the finances with Jeanette and my managers Susan and Garrett. Other job is working with the residential sales team on a variety of projects. Everything else I delegate, but my managers and foreman keep me informed of their decisions, especially that which pertains to overhead costs and margins.
What is one thing you like most about working at Evergreen?
The company culture, and how we fit with meeting the needs of our customers. In this company everyone is encouraged to be a leader, both in the office and in the field. My teammates are closer to fully understanding what is happening at Gemba than I (the Japanese term for ‘actual place’ in meeting the needs of the customer and fellow teammates). They do an amazing job every day!
